Finally! The trailer of the much awaited chick flick Veere Di Wedding is all set to be unveiled on April 25, but just two days before the trailer release, Sonam Kapoor shared the latest poster of the film with the hashtag #imnotaCHICKflick. Well, this has once again piqued our interest as the film which also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Swara Bhasker and Shikha Talsania has been touted to be one of the most anticipated chick flicks in recent times. And now, sonam has declared that it’s ‘not a chick flick’. We wonder what’s in store for us in the Veered Di Wedding trailer.
Sonam took to her Twitter account to make the announcement. She shared the latest poster of the film writing, “You think you know my Veeres & me well enough? It’s never what it looks like! Veere Di Wedding Trailer on 25th April. #imnotaCHICKflick”
While the previous posters had the cast of the film getting ready for a wedding in their ethnic ensembles, the latest poster has Sonam, Swara, Kareena and Shikha clad in pyjamas, probably before they begin to get ready for the wedding. The recent poster has a quirky vibe to it with the faces of all the ladies glowing radiantly.
However, the picture frame on the wall, that has a poster of Ekta Kapoor’s iconic TV soap Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi (who also happened to be a co-producer of Veere Di Wedding), is not to be missed.
Recently, the four leading ladies of Veere Di Wedding also shot for a dun dance number for the film with Badshah. The song, apparently titled Tareefan, has been choreographed by Farah Khan.
